Still thinking about that spring clear-out? If you live in the Shire Street area, it's your last chance to take advantage of the free skip provided by Humber Landlords Association, through a partnership with Hull City Council's West Area team.
The skip will be located in the car park at the bottom of Gloucester Hampshire Street on1,2 and 3 July
Louise Lansdell of Humber Landlords Association said: "We are pleased to be funding and working in conjunction with the Council to provide free skips for the residents of the Shires. The Association is a group of private landlords who take great pride in the work we carry out for the local community, including raising valuable funds and support local charities."
Jeremy Smawfield, Hull City Council Director for West Area said: "Even though the Council has four waste recycling points across the city and kerb side collections, including for bulky items, disposing of items after a clear out can be sometimes be inconvenient. Having a free skip close by can be an incentive to have a spring clear out. Furthermore, the skip itself is being provided by a reputable waste carrier who will recycle as many recyclable items as possible."
